Elderwood Farms is a nationally recognized alpaca farm and breeder in Millington, Tennessee, just outside of Memphis. Our program is built around competitive quality across the full color spectrum, with particular recognition for our Appaloosa, Harlequin, Pinto, and multicolored genetics. We are proud to be the back-to-back AOA National High Point Small Farm and the highest-point alpaca farm in the Southeast for the 2025 and 2026 show years.
We work with alpaca owners at every stage of their journey, offering alpaca sales, stud services, mentorship, education, and more. From pet owners and fiber farmers to showring enthusiasts and seed stock producers - and everyone in between - we’re here to help. Our alpacas are also occasionally available as guests for special events, educational programs, parties, and other agritourism functions.

Alpaca Sales
Throughout the year, we have a select group of alpacas available for purchase. While our first priority is producing happy, healthy alpacas, we also maintain a multi-colored herd with diverse fleece traits. This ensures we have animals to fit a variety of needs, goals, and budgets.
Stud Services
We are proud to offer one of the Southeast's largest, most diverse, and most decorated herdsire lineups. With more than 130 championship banners combined, these males bring proven quality in fleece, conformation, production, and genetic diversity to breeding programs across the country.
Mentorship
Are you new to alpacas and looking for guidance on husbandry, nutrition, medical care, agritourism, or general farm management? Or perhaps you just need someone to bounce ideas off as you grow your herd? We’re here for you! With over a decade of hands-on experience, we’re happy to share our knowledge and help you along your alpaca journey.
